The LMM56800 is a Large Monitor Manager for the 8 megapixel monitors CuratOR LX550W and RadiForce LS580W. It gathers various video inputs and displays them on the large screen. Different layouts can be arranged according to user preferences and working situation. This simplifies the surgeon’s individual workflow.
Der LMM56800 bundles up different signal sources and distributes them to the connected 4K monitor. Up to 26 video signals can be displayed simultaneously. At the same time it enables you to control them from one location.
The arrangement and scaling of the data sources on the screen can be chosen freely and adapted flexibly to the work situation or the preference of the user. Different configurations (layouts) can be saved and retrieved easily and quickly later. In this way, the individual work steps can be optimally supported during surgical interventions.
Using a touch panel console monitor the optimum display can be selected for the current work step. Alternatively, operation is possible using the iPad or a joystick. The user interface is intuitive, making costly user training unnecessary.
The Large Monitor Manager LMM56800 has up to 26 connections and can process digital DVI signals up to a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Additionally there are analog connections available. The supplied Y-cables split the DVI-I inputs (into DVI-D and 15-pin D-Sub connector each) so that an analogue and a digital signal can be connected at the same time.
The LMM56800 offers high functional reliability thanks to its intelligent design. It has a redundant power supply as well as a watchdog function and a flash memory.
After initial configuration, the video signals are displayed on the screen within a few seconds after switching on the Large Monitor Manager. The image is transfered with a latency of one frame for one channel up to two frames. The preset layouts can be switched over with 0.5 seconds flicker-free.
This network interface allows available systems and PCs to be controlled automatically by the Large Monitor Manager. Layout changes, status information or remote check e.g. can directly be done from x-ray system or PC.
